Welcome to Burley Gate Village Hall
Burley Gate Village Hall serves as the vibrant social heart of our community, welcoming residents from across the local parishes. Originally built as a local school, the building was converted in 1977 and fully refurbished in 2022 to provide a versatile, modern, and accessible space for all generations.
Nestled in the heart of the rolling Herefordshire countryside, Burley Gate is a charming rural hamlet where traditional English character meets a vibrant community spirit.
Historically a vital stop for drovers and travellers, Burley Gate has evolved from a scattered agricultural settlement into a close-knit neighbourhood.
Today, we are surrounded by a striking landscape of open fields, traditional apple orchards, and historic hop yards that reflect Herefordshire’s rich farming legacy.
Whether you are a lifelong resident, a newcomer, or just passing through, Burley Gate offers a warm welcome and a beautiful taste of country living.
Where are we?
Conveniently situated roughly seven miles northeast of Hereford and six miles south of Bromyard, our village sits at the scenic crossroads of the A465 and A417, making it a perfectly connected gateway to the county.
